The Ferrari Club Viginia City Hill Climb is an event the Griggs Racing staff enjoy attending each year. The 5.2 mile course, on route 342, has some breath taking views and death defying cliffs. Ride along with John Griggs in his 660whp 98 GR40 Cobra Mustang Convertible (daily driver/open track car with SLA upgrade) as he demonstrates the cars sure-footedness up the hill. GR40 Aluminum Spindle -
Griggs Racing announces a new Billet Aluminum Modular Spindle and Hub Assembly designed for use on Kit cars, street rods, GR350 vintage and GR40 late model Mustangs. It is five to six times stronger that the stock unit and in true Griggs fashion the entire assembly is lighter than an OEM SN95 or SN197 spindle/hub assembly. Dan Piņa finished 9th overall in the Formula Drift Nationals in his Drift Patrol Mustang using a GR40 Suspension System. As this video exhibits he has tremendous control over his vehicle due to its predictable handling characteristics. For those of you that follow Drift Competitions keep your eye on Dan Piņa as he will be one to watch next season.

Ernesto Roco Lowers Track Record - The new track record has been lowered almost 2.5 seconds to a 1:53.216. Ernesto was also able to set a new AIX qualifying record of 1:52.060 despite other on track traffic. He credits these accomplishments to his GR40 World Challenge Suspension System and aero dynamic improvements he has made. Ernesto says there is a 1:51 in the car and next time he will be up to it.
