2002 Awards Program Posted by GRP Engines

Sonoma, CA- GRP Engines is pleased to announce our contingency award program for the 2002 National Auto Sport Association (NASA) American Iron Series. GRP Engines is sponsoring two programs, one for individual race wins and one for year-end series championships.
Individual Race Awards
Total Value: $25,200.00
GRP Engines will offer Merchandise Certificates to the top 3 finishers of each point-earning event for competitors in both AI, and AIX classes, West Coast and East Coast Series, contingent on the following:
- Use of a complete GRP Engines engine package on the vehicle as defined by GRP. A complete engine package by definition means purchase of a new long-block fully assembled with pan, tray, pumps, intake, ignition distributor and fuel
distributor (carburetor, or fuel rails and injectors).
- Prominent display of GRP Engines and GR40 decals on vehicle front sides and rear and leading edge of roof.
Value of certificates are as follows:

Redemption requires certification from a GRP Engines representative that a complete GRP Engines racing engine assembly was in use for the event. A GRP Engines representative will be at each event. A copy of proof of purchase and use must also be signed by the NASA race officials and the GRP Engines representative and then returned to GRP Engines. Further, the certificate is redeemable only after supplying GRP Engines with a color photograph of the driver and the racecar in action or trackside at the specified event. Format may be digital or film, but must be of adequate quality and resolution for media reproduction (Digital 300dpi minimum on a 5x7 frame). GRP Engines Representatives will be on hand to assist in this regard.

Total Value: $16,000.00 merchandise or $6,600.00 cash

GRP Engines will award Merchandise Certificates or cash to the Champions of both AI and AIX classes, East Coast and West Coast Series, contingent on the following:
- Use of a complete GRP Engines engine assembly on the vehicle for a minimum of the 8 final events. The last event must be attended, where the check will be awarded. The NASA race officials and a GRP Engines authorized representative must sign a copy of the proof of purchase and use at each event the engine was used.
- Prominent display of GRP Engines and GR40 decals on vehicle front, sides, rear, and leading edge of roof or base of windshield.
- Behavior and sportsmanship of driver and crew must be professional at all times during the season and never reflect poorly on NASA, GRP Engines, or any other sponsor of the series. Certified by NASA officials.
- Professional quality photo (5x7 300dpi Tiff) will be supplied to GRP Engines for Media use. Photo will include full view of vehicle and driver with GRP Logos prominently displayed.
