Sonoma, CA- Griggs Racing Products, Inc. (GRP) is pleased to announce our contingency award program for the 2002 National Auto Sport Association (NASA) American Iron Series. GRP is sponsoring programs for both individual race wins and for year-end series championships.

Individual Race Awards

Total Value: $9000.00

GRP will offer $125 Merchandise Certificates to the winners of each point-earning event for both AI, and AIX, West and East, contingent on the following:

  1. Use of a complete GR40 suspension package* with all parts as listed in GRP catalog or website on the vehicle for the event. A complete GR40 suspension system is any system or combination thereof that is listed on the GRP web site at www.griggsracing.com.
  2. Prominent display of GR40 decals on front fenders forward of wheels, 1/4 windows, rear, and leading edge of the roof or windshield.
Redemption requires certification from a GRP representative that these conditions were met. A representative will be at each event. The certificate is redeemable only after supplying GRP with a color photograph of the driver and the racecar in action or trackside at the specified event. The format may be digital or film, but must be of adequate quality and resolution for media reproduction. (Digital 300dpi minimum on a 5x7 frame). GRP Representatives will be on hand to assist in this regard.

Championship Awards

Total Value: $10,000.00

Griggs Racing will award $2500.00 Merchandise Certificates (redeemable for $1000.00 cash) to the season Champions of both AI and AIX classes, East Coast and West Coast Series, contingent on the following:

  1. Use of a complete GR40 suspension package* on the vehicle for a minimum of the 8 final events. A complete GR40 suspension system is any system or combination thereof that is listed on the GRP web site at www.griggsracing.com.
  2. Prominent display of GR40 decals on front fenders forward of wheels, 1/4 windows, rear and leading edge of roof or windshield.
  3. Behavior and sportsmanship of driver and crew must be professional at all times during the season and never reflect poorly on NASA, GRP, or any other sponsor of the series. Certified by NASA officials.
  4. Professional quality photo will be supplied to Griggs Racing Product. Photo must include a full view of both the vehicle and driver, with GRP Logos prominently displayed. Format may be digital or film, but must be of adequate quality and resolution for media reproduction. (Digital 300dpi minimum on a 5x7 frame).
· There will be a 4 race grace period regarding the subframe connectors if another brand is currently installed.
