Being an installer/mechanic for Brad's Custom Auto in Seattle, I obtained first hand experience in SN-95 installs. Realizing that my customers cars were quickly out performing mine I had to take drastic measures, but how would all this work on my 1980 Mercury?
Fortunately I attended the Silver State Classic in 2000 and saw a prime
example of Griggs craftsmanship; a (Bill Hayes') 86 GT Mustang race car.
No more worries, all this stuff should fit. Eric walked me through the
geometry changes and the philosophy behind the GR-40. No sales pitch, no
glossy ads in the magazines, just well engineered products suitable for
street use and at home on racetracks. Of course I took this whole revamp
one step further and upgraded to Koni D/A's, the World Challenge Watts
Link and World Challenge control arms. All this race car stuff and a very
tolerable ride quality, even with all those heim joints. Thanks for all
the technical support from Bruce, John and Eric for advice on tuning the
car for optimum alignment and shock settings. All it takes is one drive
in a Griggs suspended Mustang (or Capri) to realize the superiority of
this product and staff.
Thank You,
