INNOVATIONS & INDUSTRY FIRSTS

ORIGINAL ENGINEERING, SINCE 1979.

Bruce Griggs founded Griggs Racing in 1979 with a single principle: the Mustang chassis could be made to handle as well as anything in the world, if the geometry was correct. Forty-plus years later, that work has produced the engineering firsts cataloged on this page — designs introduced by Griggs Racing for the Ford Mustang aftermarket performance market, many of which became standards of the industry, and several of which remain proprietary to Griggs Racing today.

Each entry below is documented. Many appear in published Bruce Griggs articles, in third-party magazine features, and in the racing record of customers running Griggs-engineered configurations. The list is not exhaustive — it is the load-bearing record.

THE MOTTO IS CLEAR: CHAMPIONS MADE HERE!
