K-Member

THE DEFINITION AS EXPLAINED BY BRUCE GRIGGS

A K-Member is the structural front subframe of a Mustang that mounts the engine, transmission, front suspension, and steering rack to the unibody chassis. Aftermarket performance K-members reduce weight, correct or replace original suspension geometry, and provide mounting points for tubular control arms, coil-overs, or full SLA conversions. Griggs Racing manufactures K-members engineered for both strut-geometry and SLA-conversion Mustang applications.
