A Panhard Bar is a single lateral link that locates a solid rear axle relative to the chassis. One end mounts to the axle housing, the other to the chassis. As the suspension cycles, the axle traces an arc rather than a true vertical path, producing lateral movement under roll. Panhard bars are simpler and lighter than Watts Links but introduce roll-induced rear steer that affects handling balance.
