Shock Valving

THE DEFINITION AS EXPLAINED BY BRUCE GRIGGS

Shock valving refers to the internal design and oil flow control within a shock absorber (damper) that determines compression and rebound damping characteristics. Proper valving is critical for controlling sprung and unsprung weight movement. Many Griggs Racing customers pair their SLA kits with high-quality adjustable coilovers that offer sophisticated valving for track-specific performance.
