Available options:
What usage do you demand the most performance? This does not mean where it spends most of it's time, but your performance priority.
In a multi-use car, we need to know what your next priority is.
Whether now, or in the future, if measured on an engine dyno what would your ultimate power output? If you have RWHP divide by 0.8 (Example: 470rwhp / 0.8 = 588bhp)
Our K-Member is the foundation of the Griggs Racing front suspension system, providing the correct geometry, with superior rigidty and the highest strength to weight ratio. For 40 years we have continued revising and improving our design as tires, downforce and brakes have substantially increased loads and demand on the K-Member structure.
We offer both Soft (Elastomer) and Solid (Aluminum or Steel) motor mounts depending on your usage. Solid mounts reduce movement of the engine and transmission assembly, increasing shifting precision and a degree of increase in chassis rigiditiy. If you have a properly balanced engine assembly, including flywheel and clutch, solid mounts can be used on the street, although you may feel minor harmonic vibrations at lower RPMs (for V8 engines, this is usually around 2100 RPMs).
Tell us what tire compound you intend to use - this information will affect the overall balance of your car and the spring rates we suggest.
Tell us what front tire width you intend to use - this information will affect the overall balance of your car as well as the spring and anti-roll bar rates we suggest.
Based upon the narrow tire width you indicated, you might consider running a larger tire for enhanced performance.
If you do increase your front tire width, will need to do one of the following: 1) Modify your existing front fenders 2) Replace them with a wide fender option
If neither of these options are desirable, feel free to decline our suggestion.
Based upon the tire width you indicated, you will need to do one of the following: 1) Modify your existing front fenders 2) Replace them with a wide body option
If neither of these options are desirable, please return to the "Select Tire Width" step, using the button below and left to select a narrower tire width.
All of our Spindle and Hub offerings can include ABS provision.
High quality AN fittings, hose and adaptors to connect your powersteering pump to your rack and cooler
Keep your power steering system cool under high loads, increasing life span and mitigating potential damage
A Bumpsteer Kit is essentially a tie rod end set that is adjustabable in height. When properly adjusted, this helps negate steering angle changes during vertical motion of the suspension
Select "Yes" if you are removing the majority of the interior, dash, and potentially replacing the pedals and steering column.
This is needed to prescribe correct spring rates
High Speed tracks prioritize a less compliant chassis to limit travel due to more aerodynamics/downforce (e.g. Daytona, Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Willow Springs)
Low Speed tracks prioritize a more compliant chassis due to less aerodynamics/downforce effect (e.g. Laguna Seca, Limerock, Mid-Ohio, Sonoma Raceway)
Required Item.
Single Adjustable struts have a fixed compression and rebound valving. Double Adjustable struts have both adjustable compression and rebound. All struts are sport valved and can be used for either street or competitive use.
Please note that these do not come with springs or related hardware which is offered in the following steps.
High-grade progressive bumpstops you must install on the shocks.
Manufactured by one of the premium spring winders in the United States.
We offer Coil-Over Hardware Kits for Front Struts with a body diameter of 54mm (OE, Koni, Monroe, Tokico, etc...) and the smaller 50mm diameter (Bilstein). The struts we sell, are the 54mm variant. Spring mounting hardware only, does not include Struts, Springs, or Caster/Camber plates.
Strut cars need camber plates to allow for proper alignment and permits precision alignment, provides more positive caster, improves straightline stability, improved cornering power and improved tire wear.
Duct that attaches to spindle to connect 3in Diameter hose. Does not include hose, fan, or bumper cover duct.
If you are upgrading your brakes at the same time as installing this system, select "Yes". Our Brake System Consultant will appear, clicking on it will open in a new tab while leaving one more step for your SLA Chassis System.
If you are not upgrading your brakes, we need to determine the caliper in use before we select the appropriate Brake Caliper adapter bracket, if needed.
This part is required to adapt your caliper to the chosen spindle.
