Anti-Dive is a front suspension geometry property that resists nose-down pitch under braking. Anti-dive is generated by the longitudinal angle of the front control arms, which converts a portion of the braking force into an upward push on the front of the chassis. Higher anti-dive reduces brake-induced pitch but can introduce harshness and tire compliance issues. Anti-dive is a fundamental suspension geometry tuning variable controlled by control arm mounting angles.
