Toe

THE DEFINITION AS EXPLAINED BY BRUCE GRIGGS

Toe is the inward or outward angle of the wheels when viewed from above. Toe-in (front of wheels closer than rear) provides straight-line stability and is typical for street settings. Toe-out (front of wheels farther than rear) provides sharper turn-in response and is typical for autocross and road course settings. Excessive toe in either direction increases tire wear and rolling resistance. Toe is the most sensitive alignment setting and the most affected by suspension component wear.
