K-Member & Mounts
1 K-Member & Mounts
Please select your motor type and preferred motor mount, which will prescribe the appropriate K-Member and parts.
In the following steps your additional components (Springs, Anti-Roll Bar, Control Arms, etc...) will be selected based upon your Vehicle Usage Priority and other choices.
Vehicle Usage Priority
2 Vehicle Usage Priority
What vehicle usage will you demand the most performance from your car? This may not be where you use the vehicle the most.
EXAMPLE: AutoX/Open Track can be the priority, while the car spends most of its time Daily Driven.
SLA Geometry Kit
3 SLA Geometry Kit
What spindle geometry do you want to use? Our SLA system was designed with the Griggs Racing Aluminum MDS spindle in mind, but we have adapted it for OE SN95 spindles as well.
The Aluminum MDS spindle has options for either S197 Hubs or our Griggs Racing Aluminum Hub, which features a larger diameter pin and preloaded double row tapered roller bearings, which is ideal for racing applications but equally suitable for any other usage.
Spindle & Hub Selection
4 Spindle & Hub Selection
Select your desired hub configuration.
Race prepared hubs are packed with high temperature grease rated up to 900°F and include upgraded studs.
Steering Kit
5 Steering Kit
A Bumpsteer Kit is mandatory, and selection is based upon the type of steering rack and/or spindles you will use. If you would like to purchase one of our racks - now is the time.
Our steering racks are prepared with -6AN fittings installed, and lines secured to minimize risk of vibration induced breakage, and set for improved feedback and performance while providing extended longevity when used with our steering cooler.
Linear Rack @ 15:1 (Quicker response on center, recommended for competition driving.)
Variable Rack @ 15:1 (Slower response on center, recommended for relaxed street driving.)
SLA Shock Kit
6 SLA Shock Kit
Select the shocks you would like to use for your SLA system.
Our Griggs Racing Double Adjustable GRV shocks are custom valved to provide the best possible results from our chassis systems. The aluminum body features a unique and integral coil-over spring seat adjustment along with easy external adjustments (for both compression and rebound) while on the car. These shocks are also fitted with PTFE lined Stainless Steel spherical bearings. Fully servicable and rebuildable.
The Koni options are the long tried and true 30 Series which provide linear valving and rebound only adjustable units, requiring removal from the vehicle for adjustments. These are non-serviceable, requiring replacement.
